Dubai’s fitness scene continues to expand beyond traditional gym concepts. One of the latest additions is ARKHE, a new wellness performance club in Dubai Marina that officially launched its full club experience on September 1.
Located at Silverene Tower, ARKHE brings together performance training, recovery, longevity services, Pilates and social spaces under one roof. The concept was developed by fitness and wellness entrepreneur Stewart Miller in partnership with Urban Gym Group.
Nadezhda Grishaeva recently visited the club to see the new space personally and explore how its different training and recovery elements are combined.
“I am very pleased to see the opening of a club of this level. Dubai is famous for its five-star hotels and exceptional service, yet truly elite fitness clubs remain relatively rare in the city. This is still a niche with plenty of room for development,” Grishaeva said.
A Broader Approach to Fitness
ARKHE is designed around more than conventional gym training. Its facilities include dedicated strength and functional training areas, personal training, small-group sessions and an outdoor hybrid training space. The club is also an official HYROX Training Club.
For Grishaeva, whose background combines professional sport with a long-standing interest in fitness and training environments, the integrated approach was one of the most interesting aspects of the visit.
Rather than separating training from recovery, ARKHE incorporates both into the same membership and physical space. Members have access to traditional and infrared saunas, cold plunges, compression therapy, red light therapy and hyperbaric oxygen therapy.
Grishaeva came away with a positive impression of the club and particularly appreciated the way different elements of fitness, recovery and lifestyle had been brought together in a single concept.
Training, Recovery and Longevity
The club also includes longevity diagnostics through LONGEVITY-UK, offering health assessments and personalised insights. A PILAT3S Dynamic Reformer studio forms another part of the concept, alongside performance-led classes and a café overlooking Dubai Marina.
The combination reflects a wider shift within the fitness industry, where clubs are increasingly adding recovery, diagnostics and wellness services alongside traditional exercise facilities.
ARKHE’s gym floor initially opened to founding members before the full club launch on September 1. Urban Gym Group describes the Dubai project as part of its international expansion, adding the UAE to a portfolio that includes clubs and fitness concepts in the Netherlands, the United Kingdom and Ireland.
“One of the most difficult parts of projects like this is finding the right space at a reasonable rental rate. There are very few such locations, and the location itself matters enormously. ARKHE has managed to bring all these elements together, along with strong design and high-quality equipment. I can only envy the residents of this club,” she added.
Dubai’s Changing Fitness Landscape
For Grishaeva, visits to new fitness concepts offer an opportunity to see how the industry is developing in Dubai and how operators are responding to changing expectations among members.
ARKHE is one example of that evolution: a club where strength and conditioning sit alongside recovery, Pilates, health diagnostics and spaces designed for members to spend time beyond their workouts.
With the full facility now open in Dubai Marina, the project adds another distinctive concept to Dubai’s increasingly competitive fitness and wellness market.
